Maria and Elena Gubina
*jaw drops* C’est manifique!(btw, is that Elrond, Galadriel, and Celeborn?)
or maybe elrond, galadriel and cirdan… but wonderful pic, love the idea!!!
I said DAMN..that’s one pretty drawing!!!
I’m a fan of your artwork now! It all so pretty!
*sigh* perfectly captures the tragic majesty of the Elves!! Ai vanimar!
pretty…
they way everything fades together is perfect!
Wow! this looks fantastic
I love your landscapes; this one is poignant. *wiping tear*
I love the fading together of the whole picture. It’s so sad because the elves are looking to the sea.
Absolutely smashing! I love this artist, or artists, they draw so beautifully, I’m now a fan!
I agree, it is really sad with the elves looking to the sea, but it is REALLY good.
Oh my. Breathtaking. And I don’t give that praise easily.
Whoa…neat.
wow… Beautiful!
I like how Galadriel and Celeborn look straight on to sea, but Elrond looks back, like he’s looking at Arwen
and Middle-Earth one last time.
There long the golden leaves have grown upon the branching years,
While here beyond the Sundering Seas now fall the Elven-tears.
Beautiful! Magical piece 🙂
Possibly, one of my favorite drawings on this site. It makes me sad for some reason. 🙁
*stares dumbfounded at screen* wow. thats all i can say. wow.
Wow. Now this is the sort of thing that realy makes it hit home what Midd-Earth lost as the elves sailed. It
makes me want to cry. So moving. I agree with StarOfTheDunedain, it does look as though Elrond is lamenting
the loss of his only daughter. The way that the leaves float across makes it that much more clear that this
is an ending. But at the same time, the light on the horizon brings the hope of a new beginning. If a picture
is worth a thousand words, you just proved it. I find it amazing how you can put so much emotian into such a
simple scene. *wipes away a tear of awe and sadness* Bravo!
So fair and yet so sad… I have no words…
I can’t even think of a word to describe it. True beauty!!
Galadriel’s song!… “Ah, like gold fall the leaves in the wind…” Wow.
‘…through memory and time…’ Wonderful.
