There’s one thing we know is these Helmets are not worn in battle. Thank heavens, they would be seen for miles

Beregond is not in the movie. The guy who was supposed to play Beregond was given another part : he was the
blonde Gondorian who according to cast lists is Irolas, played by Ian Hughes 😀
well, close enough, i guess! in the books, iorlas is beregond’s brother and bergil’s uncle.
Haha, this helmet just screams “NUMENOR! Feel the POWAHH!” And the guard looks cross-eyed.

I think it is one of the Guards of the White Tree. They all wore the same attire. Those are swan feathers.

It’s not Beregond, he was one of the ordinary Citadel Guards. This is an all-honorable Fountain Guard.
Just bought this action figure — he’s called “Royal Guard” in the Gondorian Soldiers series.
The one thing Tolkien thought up that was kinda weird…after all, what sane people would go trotting around w
ith wings on their helmet? Ya know what though, I looked closely at the regular helms, and there were wings en
graved on them.

I feel terrible about it but I just can’t stop laughing at that helmet. The breastplate is beautiful, but who’s idea was it to put bird wings on the helmets? XD
