I love Shadowfax, Pip, and Gandalf, but I definintly agree with StarOfTheDunadainand the one above that!
It looks like an Inca or Aztec ruin.. maybe even Mesopotamia, not Middle Earth.

I like this, but it doesn’t look at all like a Lord of the Rings illustration. More like an illustration for
another fantasy book that borrowed heavily from LotR.
