All elves in Mirkwood have blue eyes and blond hair. All elves in Riverdell have brown hair.. eyes varied.

I like the thing that Viggo has written about Legolas/Orli, it’s like a poem!
multi talented much? viggo is a poet,artist, photographer, swordsman, and can speak elvish, and an actor
in lots of the movie scenes, i think orli forgot his contacts.
either he’s putting in contacts, or he just semi-finished crying…..

it’s easy to read! and the reason he ‘forgot’ to put his contacts in is because he scratched his eye and

Elves have **grey** eyes… like most of Tolkien’s characters, actually. I think it’s odd they made him
blue eye/ blond hair. Thranduil was, but book says his son had dark hair, grey eyes, and fair beauty. got the
last one at least!

I think he didn’t use the contacts all the time because brown eyes tend to look angrier, and Legolas has
plenty of angry moment. His blue eyes were probablyu used for closeups more than anything. I like both ways.

Where does the book say about Legolas hair colour??? I’ve been looking for something for ages but I can never
find anything. I know Tolkien didnt like Legolas to be thought of as pretty, it says so in Lost Tales part 2,

I love how he made the background dark and mysterious. It creates a distinct mood, if you know what I mean.
Love the words, it’s very cool writing that about both his character and himself considering they both play a
lot, calling each other ‘elf boy’ and ‘filthy human’ the stuff that I found out they did was hilarious. XD

I wear contacts sometimes. I think sometimes that’s the best position for getting them on eyes.
