*crumbles under the look* what talented teamwork/he’s cgi yet this brings out such sympathy
and plus i love how they could use his look to give him complex emotions
I couldn’t agree more Mika: this is some of the best ‘acting’ in the whole movie.
Sympathy or empathy? Either works.

He’s finally realizing what Frodo is going to do with the Ring. He was probably afraid this would happen, but
he thought he could get it from him before Frodo could destroy it. Now he’s thinking about what will
happen to him if the Ring is gone. He’s so addicted to it that he can’t let that happen.
