I can’t help being a little annoyed that she got third billing.
it’s because shes a bigger star i would think
her character is nothing in the book, and in the movie really…that makes me SO mad how shes up on the top
especially as many of the other characters are so more important..i mean, ARAGORN IS AFTER HER?!?!
It was the same thing on the covers of the movies, she doesn’t have that big a role, but on the cover her
picture is the biggest
Whatever! Livr, no one else could have been Arwen. Thank you very much a sensitive portrayal you were truly
The reason she’s third has something to do with Viggo Not being cast until so late into the process
she was going to be fifth after Sean Astin but after Stewart Townsend was dropped it created technicalities
with the casts billing contracts and what we have now is the best they could arrive at. Besides it does create
a nice unity with the impression the writers and director wantesd to make, being the first five billed had
equal importance in the story. And Gollum too.
She did well in the role- there were not many parts for women in this- she was good.
Aiya,Liv/Arwen!(Who cares if I don’t like her?)
Liv Tyler was a perfect Arwen to me, and she really made out the heart of Aragorn’s story.
all the purists are secretly glad of arwen’s role in rotk because we got to see eldarion
OK. Liv was wonderful as Arwen and no one was more perfect for that role, but they made her character way too
important! I mean, she was in RotK for a grand total of 10-15 minutes tops and she gets this huge space on the
Dvd cover and billing over other way more important characters :: Cough,*LEGOLAS* cough *ARAGORN* cough:: and
quite frankly, it just isn’t right.
a) Arwen is a story teller, just like Frodo, Gandalf, Aragorn, Sam and Gollum, she is one of the few character
s who we get to see Middle Earth through the eyes of. b) Legolas is NOT an important character. What more do
you know about him by the end of the trilogy than you did at the beginning? NOTHING.
Screen time doesn’t determine the mains from the minors, it’s how well the characters were used.
She looks better than her dad Steven Tyler.
I think Liv was so perfect for Arwen… she looks so elven
I agree that no one else could have been Arwen, but they made her way too important and I, too, am a little
annoyed that she got third billing.
she always gets onto dvd covers or posters even if she plays just a small role *rolls eyes* Ahh, the injust.
Yay, Liv!!!!
