It was so gracious of PJ to include Sean Bean in the credits since he was “only” a flashback. Way to go Pete!
Yay Boromir!
Go Boromir! I mean yeah that was um gracious……..
i stood up and yelled, “I LOVE YOU SEAN!” and everyone looked at me..
That is a F-I-N-E drawing, too 🙂
I actually forgot that he was in the movie. I was looking at one of those best ensembles lists and I wondered
why he was on it until I remembered his three second flashback. I think Uruk-Hai #486 probably had more screen
time than he did, but who cares? Love to the Bean man!
Gotta love the English language: 2 words spelled the same sound absolutely nothing alike: “Sean” & “Bean” 😀
i think it was right to include him…as its the final movie and he was in the first one..sweet to remember
him! he did an excellent job, especially in TTT EE…the flashbacks…i cried when he died, i hadnt read the
2nd book, so it was a shock…*sniff* im gonna miss this
of course he’s in the credits! He was a member of the fellowship! Sooooo happy he was included!
In fact they should’ve done the whole fellowship first, then all the other people
SOO glad they included him! I said, “Oh YEAH!” when this pic came up and heard others around me agree!
he filmed material that ws used in the movie, therefore he needs to be creditted. However his role was too
small to be up above many other characters. having an “and” is one of the most prestigious things to get in
billing. It means he played a very large role but not large enough to be right up the top, so they give him
special mention at the end. That or he’s returning in a small role when he had a larger in previous films.
Both are accurate in this instance. Besides, there are alot of characters more important than the fellowship.
Arwen for example, while having a smaller role in screen time than say Legolas, plays a more influential role
in the forward movement of the plot.
Bravo Sean!
It was appropritate to include him, for the flashback and for the reason that he was in the Fellowship
Sean Bean…He was sharpe!
And his cameo as a Gondorian Soldier!!!!! See behind Elrond’s shoulder at the Coronation!!!
Aiya,Sean/Boromir!
Glad to see him! Excellent acting Sean! Thanks!
I’m glad Peter Jackson put in all of these actors in his movie. They did well and they were all meant to be
their characters and in this movie!!!!
Boromir forever! Brought to life by SB! Great.
WOOHOO!!!! Boromir is awesome!!!! I’m so relieved that they added Sean in here, he did such a wonderful job!!!
did anyone feel like these drawings in the credits were ‘supposed to be drawings of Frodo’s’ in the Red Book??
anyone else* ^ but i admit i am a little too obsessed for my own good 😀
When I first saw FOTR I never thought I’d say it but: Best Acting Performance in LOTR – Sean Bean, all the way
And thank you Rivka for the caps, they are awesome.
sean bean’s in the coronation scene? i’ll have to check that out when the dvd gets out and see!
I was so happy when I saw that they included him in the credits!
Thanks for bringing Boromir to life, Sean. You totally rock!
Aredhel Arfeiniel, I thought they might be drawings of Frodo’s or Sam’s but then I thought about how character
s like Denethor would never have met them, therefore drawings as accurate as they were would not be possible.
Speaking of, does anyone know how much detail the Red Book contained? Was it just Frodo’s story, or were all
the diffeent stories added in?
I was so pleased to see Sean credited. He did a tremendous job as Boromir. Thanks PJ.
I was so happy when they put Sean in the credits. It made the end of the movie a little more bearable.
I am so sad it is all over!!
Boz!!!! *huggles*
