    Actually, it was Arwen’s grandmother,Idril’s sword, Elrond used it in the 2nd Age, and then Arwen got it.

    gosh, some people are sooo picky! The gold inlays are done this way: metal is engraved with design.

    paper thin gold is then beaten into the design, and extra cut off. A little filing on a grindstone takes off
