i kno legolas and gimli never went there. in the yr 120 of the 4th age, King Elessar finally died
then legolas built a ship in ithilien and went with gimli to the undying lands
is shadowfax going to valinor with gandalf?

Prettyful…When ever I watch this part in ROTK I feel a mixture of sadness and happiness…
For me the departure of the elves was always the saddest thing, that and Frodo’s journey westward.
Talk about a bittersweet illustration. Very well-done, though.
