well, I guess these are the scenes that were shot but later deleted… ?
Where is Arwen? I can’t see her…
She’s the one in greyish-pink, and she’s hard to see. And yes, she was supposed to be removed from the shot.
it’s going to be pure travesty if they leave Arwen at Helm’s Deep, if they had to put more Elves there…

I’m glad that Jackson edited this silly part from the movie! It’s so out of place, Arwen shouldn’t be there!
As much as I respect Arwen, it was so much better for her to leave Rivendell with the other elves.
I don’t think she was even supposed to be in the movie. I’ve read The Two Towers and the chapter in
Helm’s Deep and didn’t mention one little thing about Arwen.
I also think if they were going to add someone it should have been the twins

I can see Arwen at Helm’s Deep, but not as Warrior Woman.

Arwen was never mentioned in TTT book. Period. Read the book, saw the movie-and was blown by her gigantic role
supposedly they put her in, but then they switched her out to stay “truer” to the book, and put Legolas in her
place… they just missed her in these, or it’s from a botleg copy…

If any of you have The Making of the Trilogy book, look at page 25. Besides Aragorn is Theoden and besides
Theoden you can see Arwens head. I’m convinced.

of how different the movie was from the book. Very disappointed.

Okay see the thing is if they did everything according to the books……the movies would be like 6 hours each
and no one would go see them. if frodo was thought dead at the end of TTT then no one would see ROTK. And it
is a movie not a book. so they need to follow all of the characters to show what is happening. or people would
get bored. PJ felt he needed to give more notice to Arwen because he felt she was just a background prop……

There’s stuff about Arwen being at Helms Deep in the Extended Editions. I think PJ did a great job, and I dont
mind most of the changes he made from book to movie, but if he’d put Arwen at HD, he would have gone to far.
