I always found it kind of mean of Elrond, to make her so upset about her choice to marry Aragorn…
He’s just trying to make her see what a choice she’s having to make. And she’s going to give up her Ada?!

like i sed tough decisions…. very tough its not fair on her they really need to change rules about
imortality and marrage it would save quite a lot of tears on every1s part….

This irritates me because in the book, Elrond just accepted Arwen’s choice and left it at that.
well, he didn’t really, he just told Aragorn that he wouldn’t give his daughter to anyone less than the King
