this part made my hysterical, and i wasnt laughing, i was like screaming the first time i saw it
Geez. It made me cry.
I was like oh this is so sad
that kinda bothered me though. they thought a seven year ld boy could fight better than and adult woman?
they would… this is a medieaval society and anyway, otherwise Éowyn’s character wouldn’t be so trong
*strong
I also hated the fact that they took like, nine years olds away from their mothers and stuff. that must have
been hard
it was pretty realistic… I liked it because this is how it happened in the old days
makes the war part less exciting and glamerous
When they said in the book “most have seen too many winters, or too few, I was thinking the youngest were
like fifteen, not eleven.
This scene was so said. A little child going to war?
This reminded me of those poor kids in Iraq and Palestine who shoot guns instead of playing with toys..
Yeah it is quite sad (but i don’t cry during movies, i’ve come close but never actually cried.)
I wonder if he lives…
which one is Viggo’s son?…I can’t tell…
I agree with Eruanne. This scene made me really angry. Children should NEVER have to fight! Not even male
children!
i think they were so desperate they NEEDED to take younger boys and elderly men no matter the age
and maybe PJ was trying to make a point about how wrong it is to send children into battle to die
Just think. If they let they’re women fight, they’d have almost twice their number
my history teacher was talking about war and stuff and she said one reason they didn’t let women fight is ‘cos
it was essential to the survival of the people. if all the women were killed, the rohirrim wouldn’t survive
and since one man could sire children with many women, if many of the men died, the rohirrim could still live
I was bawling at this part. The kid is so young and they’re sending him off to war. And the look on his face
just send shivers down my spine. Of course, this is how it really happened. They really would send young boys
off to war if they needed more men to fight.
How OLD was this kid? Five? He looks smaller than the Hobbits!
Look at him! He can’t even see out of his helmet, and they’re sending him off to war?
