Hmm, looks like Howe wanted them to be influenced by the lion. Look at the mask and then the neck plates.
A Variag is not an Easterling. Why would you assume that just because the armor looks like the Easterling
armor from the movies that they’re the same thing? And no, Variags aren’t in any of the movies. Anyhow, I like
