Parody of "Drink With Me" by Les Miserables (Broadway Musical)

Dunharrow/Drink with me
All the Rohirrim are gathered at Dunharrow, getting ready to ride to Pelennor Fields, and maybe their death. The ladies of the court gather with the soldiers, and they begin to sing:

Théoden:
Aragorn, rest.

Éomer:
Drink with me to days gone by
Sing to me the songs we knew

Gamling:
Here’s to races across wide open plains

Hama:
And to horses who bore us without pain.

All:
Here’s to them and here’s to you.

Éowyn:
Drink with me to days gone by
Can it be you fear the Eye?
Will the elves sing of you
When you fall?
Could it be your death
Means nothing at all?
For you will join your fathers’ hall.

All:
Drink with me to days gone by
To the life that used to be

Court ladies:
On the field of battle, raise the flag high

Soldiers:
Let the race of Men always try.

All:
The orcs shall ne’er have victory.

Aragorn:
Do I care if I should die?
Now she goes across the sea?
Life without Arwen
Means nothing at all.
Would you weep, Arwen,
Should Aragorn fall?
Will you weep, Arwen,
For me?

(Aragorn settles down to sleep)
