Frodo, the Ring-bearing hobbit
had a very shiny ring.
And if you ever saw him,
you would even say “my precious”.

All of the other hobbits
used to laugh and call him names.
They never let poor Frodo
join in any hobbit games.

Then on foggy Weathertop,
The Witch-king came to say:
“Frodo with your ring so bright,
won’t you give it to me today?”

Then all the Ringwraiths loved him
and they shouted out with glee,
“Frodo the Ring-bearing hobbit,
you’ll go down in history!”
