Aragorn – Oh I do not want to leave
Arwen – I know you must
Aragorn – Arwen, I don’t know what to say
Arwen – Then make no sound
Aragorn – My heart’s lost
Arwen – In mine, it’s found

Aragorn – My path’s dark as night
Arwen – Take this to make things bright
Arwen removes her necklace and places it in Aragorn’s hand
Aragorn – I can’t accept this don’t you see, Arwen, my dear
Arwen – It’s mine to give to whom I will
Aragorn wakes up. He is clearly upset by his dream. Eowyn rushes over to comfort him.
Eowyn – It was a dream. It is okay

Both Aragorn and Eowyn are now singing to themselves, as if thinking out loud.

Eowyn – He was never mine to lose

Eowyn – If only he’d think of me.
Aragorn – I haven’t seen her in so long. I miss her so
