While walking through the Mines of Moria, Legolas was feeling a bit depressed because he hadn’t been able to brush is hair for a few days and he thought he was starting to develop a stench.Then he looked at the rest of the Fellowship and realized that he was still the best looking (In his mind) So he started singing softly to himself…

Just then he realized that everyone was looking at him. So thinking that everyone liked his singing (And just because he’s cocky) he jumped up on Balin’s tomb and grabbed Gandalf’s staff to use as a microphone and started singing louder.

As he was just about to sing another verse, Gandalf ripped the staff out of Legolas’s hand and said “FOOL OF AN ELF” and stomped away. So the rest of the trip Legolas stayed at the back end of the line.
