Parody of "Chatanooga Choo Choo" by Glenn Miller

If you’ll agree, I’ll take you home to Minas Tirith
Underneath the White Tower, we’ll sit and talk for an hour.
I know you’ll love the streets and halls of Minas Tirith
There’s so much there to see, so will you go there with me?

We’ll go walking in the moonlight when the walls seem so fair
Watch the banners flying in the sweet evening air,
We won’t mind the weather, hand in hand together
Darling there are wondrous sights awaiting you there.

When you’ve been to Gondor you will love as I do
Gondor’s land and people, ah, those people so true.
Oaths that never falter, hearts that never alter,
Like the heart that pledges all its love to you.

Will you agree to come with me to Minas Tirith,
To the Tower of Guard, whose praise eludes any bard?
It sits upon the very lap of Mindolluin,
And the fresh mountain air will run a hand through your hair.

We’ll be dancing in the daylight when the shadow is gone.
Isn’t that a pretty thought to ponder upon?
Laughing, leaping, cheering, sorrows disappearing
Gondor’s new jewel shining where the white tree once shone.

When you’ve been to Gondor you will love as I do
Gondor’s land and people, ah, those people so true.
Oaths that never falter, hearts that never alter,
Like the heart that pledges all its love to you.

Darling, I know, you’ll fall in love with Minas Tirith.
And my city, it’s true, will be devoted to you.
Your smile will be the sun that banishes all darkness
And my people will say my wife is lovely as day.
