Parody of "American Pie" by Don Mclean

I know that this isn’t the entire song but bear with me

Frodo:

A long long time ago,
The third age of in a magic world,
The one ring fell into hobbit’s hand,
And I knew if I had my chance,
That I’d destroy that golden band,
The ring that was cut from from Sauron’s hand,

But Sauron’s army made me shiver,
Despite Legolas’ never ending quiver,
Gandalf on the doorstep,
Sam couldn’t take that one step,

I can’t remember if I died,
When the Witch-Kind rearranged my insides,
But something touched me deed inside,
Morgul blades hurt, he lied.

So bye-bye I’m riding Glorfindel’s horse,
Leaving strider, Merry, Pippin,
Good old Sam of course,
Plus good Glorfindel whose got this really fast white,
Singing, “Nazgul’re after you and the ring,”
“Nazgul’re after you and the ring.”

Did you see “There and back again?”
Written in a Red Book by Bilbo’s hand,
Lying here in Rivendell,
Do you believe in creatures fell?
Can the one ring break Saruman’s spell,
Nope, the council says it’s gotta be destroyed

Well I know Boromir wants to challenge Mordor,
He thinks that the ring can save Gondor,
The council thinks he’s mad,
Gandalf spoke Black Speech and mad him sad,

Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli too,
With Gandalf, Sam, plus that Boromir too,
Merry and Pippin they’re going to sing,
To help me destroy the ring

I started singing,
“Bye-bye to happy Imladris”
Food and shelter for us all,
and nothing went amiss
Your immortal elves, singing lullabies
Crying, “You silly men we never die.”
“You silly men we never die.”
