Parody of "Old Duteronomy" by From Cats

Sung by Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli when they meet Gandalf the White for the first time

All: Well, of all things!
Can it be really?
Yes, no, ho, hi, oh my eyes!

Legolas: My eyes may be cheated, but I confess, I belive it is old Gandalf the White.

All: Well, of all things!
Can it be really?
Yes, no, ho, hi, oh my eyes!

Gandalf: I fought with the Balrog on the mountian and died,
And I come back to you now, at the turn of the tide.

All: Old Gandalf the White’s vanquised many foes
Using his sword and his staff and his nose.
From his numores victories, back he does glide,
And the grandest horse in all creation he rides.

At the sight of that sparkely white wizardonimy as he ride on his horse over the Rohan plains the old King Theoden croaks: Well, of all things!
Can it be really?
Yes, no, ho, hi, oh my eyes!
My eyes may be cheated, but I confess, I belive it is old Gandalf the White.

All: Well, of all things!
Can it be really?
Yes, no, ho, hi, oh my eyes!
My eyes may be cheated, but I confess, I belive it is old Gandalf the White.
