The shire fills my heart
With the sound of food
My heart wants to sing
every praise of food

My heart wants to beat like the cakes as they flip and flop when thrown in the air

My heart want to sigh as I smell the food at the feast prepared

To laugh like the nuts when they crack and pop over fires burning bright

To sing through the night
Like a child filling the corners

I go to the feast
When my stomach is empty
I know I will eat
Every last thing

My stomach has been filled
With Hobbit food
And I’ll eat ’til I’m full
