Parody of "The Ringbearer" by Kenny Rogers

*Pippin is seen sitting with a crowd of little hobbit grandchildren around him and begins to tell them the story…*

Frodo B,
With a ring at that,
Heads off with Sam
For a little chat
He says “I am the ringbearer,
That is a fact”
Puts the ring on his finger
And he starts off at a walk

And the ring goes on
Frodo disappears
Lives to disprove ev’ryone’s fears
And he goes with Sam
To destroy the ring
But he gets attacked
With orcs coming

Now Frodo B.
Doesn’t say a word
Picks up his ring
He is undeterred
He says “I am the ringbearer
That is understood”
And he gives his all
That’s the best he could

And the ring goes on
Frodo disappears
Lives to disprove ev’ryone’s fears
And he goes with Sam
To destroy the ring
And he gets to Doom
But here’s something

He gets to the mountain
He shows no fear
But when he closes his eyes,
The one ring starts to jeer

And the ring goes on
Frodo disappears
Lives to prove everyone’s fears
But Gollum leaps
From behind a rock
And the ring is gone
Without much talk

Now it’s honor time
Frodo’s friends all call
Two hobbits fly home
With no ring at all
He says “There is no ring bearer,
that is understood,
but even I didn’t know
Gollum was so good

Yes even I didn’t know
Gollum was so good.”
