Parody of "Honky Tonk U" by Toby Keith

Valinor U

My grandfather owned a bar,
On the Hobbiton-Downs line.

So my mama put me on a horse,
And I went to stay in Bree in the summer time.
I stacked up the empty pints,
And at night he’d let me sneak out and listen to the Rangers.

Broken bones and scars,
I’ve had my share of orc blood,
But I knew it wouldn’t last cause
A Ranger life means Ranger pay.
I started breaking horses,
I’m half-elf and proud as I can be.
Then I took my books of lore and Elvish songs,
And sang them to a man from Rivendell.

I’ve played every beer joint-tavern,
From Hobbiton out to Minas Tirith.
Every solstice fair and equinox,
And sold out every glade and battle-arena,
Yeah I’m an Elven-blood, wolf-breed,
Graduate of Valinor U.

A star can’t burn forever,
And even the Evenstar must lose its shine.
But the library won’t ever be
Half empty in my optimistic mind.
I’ll still have songs to sing,
And Elves to read my lore.
As long as there’s a Fire Hall,
And an Elvish crowd.

I’ve played every beer joint-tavern,
From Hobbiton out to Minas Tirith.
Every solstice fair and equinox,
And sold out every glade and battle-arena,
Yeah I’m an Elven-blood, wolf-breed,
Graduate of Valinor U.

I can’t take credit for the Valinor U idea, I saw someone mention it around here and it got me thinking ~HalfElf_Bearon
