Parody of "The Prince of Egypt (When You Believe)" by Stephen Schwartz

Frodo:
Many days we’ve gone
With no proof Sméagol’s path won’t veer
In our hearts a hopeful song
That he will see us through
Now we are so afraid
Because we know there’s much to fear
We were climbing mountains
Long before this awful slough

Frodo and Sam:
Paths can be hazardous
When we’re not sure
Some spots are frail
We may be killed
Who knows what treachery
Is in this marsh
And just how harsh
We will find out
Find out if we fall in

Sam:
In this time of fear
When paths so often prove in vain
Hope seems like the summer birds
Too swiftly flown away
And now we’re standing here
The stench so bad we can’t explain
Seeking paths and heeding him
Who I never thought would stay

Gollum:
Paths can be hazardous
When you’re not sure
Some spots are frail
You may be killed
Follow, I know the way
Through this Dead Marsh
It’s not too harsh
If you will trust
Trust me to lead you out

Frodo and Sam:
We trust you’ll lead us out.
