Long term Tolkien fan. Read 'The Hobbit' at the age of 8, 'The Silmarillion' at 13 and LOTR at 14. I was absolutely spellbound. I was always impressed that a barman at my university could speak Elvish back in 1982. I am now endeavouring to follow in his footsteps and learn Sildarin in a year.
