Serves: Makes about 16 treats, depends on the size of your cherries
Prep Time: 30 minutes, plus 15 minutes to chill.
Difficulty: Easy
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups Peanut Butter6 ounces semi-sweet Chocolate Chips, melted
1/2 pound of Powdered Sugar
Sweet Cherries, fresh or canned
Chopped nuts, if desired
Instructions
Mix peanut butter and chocolate chips in a medium-sized bowl. Stir in powdered sugar until it is the consistancy of Playdough and no longer sticky. Roll into 1 inch balls, and coat again with powdered sugar. Make a small indent in the ball with your thumb, and place a cherry inside. Close the ball back up with your thumb. Repeat untl there is no more of the peanut butter mixture. Set on a plate and chill them in the freezer for 15 minutes. Freezing for too long will make them as hard as rocks. Serve cold.Tip: Recipie may vary depending on your peanut butter. I used Peter Pan Low-fat brand.
Tip: If you are planning on making these for children, I suggest that you leave the house and have Glorfindel watch your children. If this is not possible for any reason, a grandparent will work just as well.

I did this and ran out of powdered sugar toward the end, before it was play dough consistency. Sso instead of wrapping it around cherries, I poured it into a round cake pan and kept it in the refrigerator.Iit makes an wonderful fudge. One piece keeps you hyper for ages! i used Creamy Jiff. Now, i need some more chocolate chips so i can make more!
This is a great recipe! I couldn’t find the cherries so I used cherry cordial filled hershey kisses. I’m still looking for the cherries though..
