Serves: 2
Prep Time: 5 mins
Difficulty: Easy
Ingredients
1 cup of your favorite summer fruit(s)1 cup vanilla ice cream
4 or 5 ice cubes
1/4 cup Sprite or other lemon-lime soda
2 tbsp milk
Whipped cream (if desired)
Instructions
In a blender, mix fruit and ice cream then add milk. While blending, add ice cubes one at a time until they are all crushed. Add Sprite and blend until thoroughly mixed. Pour unto a glass and top with whipped cream if desired.Be willing to try different fruit combinations. Strawberries are definitely good, but what about adding some watermelon? Or take those strawberries and add raspberries, blueberries, and maybe even some blackberries and make a mixed berry! The possibilities are endless.

Thank you SO much for submitting this recipe! At the moment, it’s 97 degrees here, and I just made a raspberry flavored smoothie using this recipe. I love it! Yay for no heatstroke! This smoothie recipe, unlike some I’ve seen, has just the right amount of flavor, the perfect consistency once the Sprite is added- it was a little bit harder to mix it before I added the Sprite. Love it!
