Serves: 2 Not-so hungry hobbits or 4 humans
Prep Time: 35 min (baking time included)
Difficulty: Easy
Ingredients
2 cups rolled oats1-1/2 tTbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla flavouring
1/4 cup of chopped nuts(pecans/walnut)
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. cCinnamon
1 egg
4 Tbsp. wWild honey (or regular)
Instructions
Simply combine all ingredients and mix well with a wooden spoon until a sticky, somewhat crumbly batter. Shape into plump disks and bake on lightly greased baking sheet for 20-25 minutes or until crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. This recipe is extremely adaptable. You can leave out the brown sugar for a less sweet bannock, you can also leave out the nuts or add more nuts. You could use maple flavouring. You can also double, triple, or quadruple this recipe as many times you want easily!

Very easy to make (a little messy but fun). Very tasty and delicious with a glass of milk. No oven temp. was given, but I used 350 degrees and they turned out just perfectly.
