Ingredients

1 small onion
Sunflower or canola oil
1 tin chopped tomatoes
Jar crunchy peanut butter
1 small knob Marmite
Salt


Instructions

Chop and fry onion in oil. Pour into saucepan. Add tomatoes and stir over low to medium heat.

As mixture simmers, stir in big spoonfuls of peanut butter until soup takes on a brown colour. Continue stirring until smooth and well-blended, then remove from heat.

Add Marmite and salt to taste.

Serve hot with heavily buttered slices of thick bread.
