Ingredients
1 French vanilla cake mix1 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups fancy flake coconut
1 1 litre (1qt.) container container Cool Whip, thawed
Instructions
(Make at least 1 day ahead for best flavour. Can be made up to 5 days ahead.)Prepare and bake cake mix in 9x13-inch pan according to package directions.
Evenly poke holes in cake with meat fork about 6 times.
Combine milk, sugar and 1/2 cup coconut in saucepan and simmer 1 minute. Spoon mixture over warm cake. Cool completely in fridge.
Fold 1/2-cup coconut into thawed Cool Whip; spread over cooled cake. Sprinkle remaining coconut over cake.
Refrigerate before serving.
