Ingredients

7 or 8 large green bell peppers (8 for smaller peppers 7 for larger peppers)
2 1/2 pounds of ground hamburger
2 large eggs
one onion (chopped)
1/2 stack of saltine crackers (crushed)
3 tablespoons black pepper
5 tablespoons salt
3 cans tomato sauce


Instructions

Cut open top of bell peppers and clean.

Mix hamburger, eggs, onion, crackers, salt, black pepper, and 1 can of tomato sauce in large bowl.

Stuff bell peppers to the top with meat mixture, replace the tops.
Place in large pot and add remaining 2 cans of sauce. Fill pot with water until sauce and water mixture covers the top of the peppers. Heat pot on high until sauce begins to boil. After boiling begins time one hour, no stiring is required.

*Caution*
Peppers will be very hot after cooked.
Allow to stand several minutes out of the cooking pot before serving.
