Height: Tall
Age: 32
Family: mother and father dead, no siblings
Weapons: bow and arrows, long sword that was passed in his family through many generations, daggers- one bigger by his belt and two smaller in his long boots.

Personality: he is a type of loner and feels best if left alone. It is the result of his unhappy love which made him closed in himself. He rarely opens his secure shell for another because he fears to be hurt. He is usually quiet in the company of others unless he feels very comfortable with them. Then he will speak a lot about everything. Amdir is very wary about strangers and it is very hard to gain his trust. However when he decides to trust somebody then he will trust this person with his life. And he never forgives betrayal. He does feel quite well in the company of another Rangers or the elves as they had played big part in his life. He tries to avoid human as they usually do not seek his company because he is a Ranger. And they do not think him to be worth of their acquaintance. He is usually calm and reserved although in some cases he is quick to anger, especially if he sees someone behaving unfair or taking advantage of weaker beings. And he is a ruthless enemy to all creatures of the shadow. After he lost his beloved he thought that he was unable to love anymore and pushed that feeling out of his heart. But yet, after a few years, the new flame appeared in his heart and in his dreams Amdir found a place for a new woman and children. But it is his secret longing and as he did not found anyone yet, he still is reserved with the women.

He is tall and well built, yet still quite slim. He has black hair reaching to his shoulders. His facial expression is usually serious and is rarely lightened up by a smile. He has dark eyes and in them there resides a small light of both courage and defiance. In those rare times when he feels relaxed in somebody’s company small traces of care and joy may be seen. His gaze is piecing as if reading the other’s soul. He usually has several days beard. He is never seen without his weapons and always on his neck there is a small woman pendant on a silver chain. He rarely allows anybody to see that pendant for it is his most precious treasure, the only thing that was left of his beloved (a few words about it are in his history).

History:

Amdir was the only child in his family. His mother took care of him alone because his father being a ranger, spent entire months on his duty. When the boy was 6 his mother died of pneumonia, although some said it was longing for her husband that killed her.

Amdir’s father then took the boy with him and ever since a ranger’s camp became his home. There he quickly learned how to survive in the wilderness and how to fight. He learned eagerly from the Rangers everything he could.Shortly after he reached his adulthood he lost his father who was killed in a battle. Amdir then took his father’s sword and started to wonder alone looking for solace.

Once he lost his way during the storm and found shelter when he was already soaked to the bone. He got very sick and would have died if some elves of Mirkwood would have not found him. They took care of him and the young human stayed with them for a while eager to learn of the elven ways. He learned sindarin and improved his archery skills.

One day he went to Lake Town with the elves and fell in love with a young maiden. She loved him as well and they were to be wed as soon as he finished his mission. Before Amdir left his beloved gave him a pendant as a symbol of her love. The young Ranger was happy and went on his mission as fast as he could so that he could be back sooner. He counted days separating him form his come back. Finally he made his way back to Lake Town only to find out that there was plague when he left and many people died. His beloved was one of them. On that day Amdir’s heart died and the only thing left of his love was that pendant. From that day he believed that he would not be capable to love anyone.

Yet now, after ten years, in his heart awoke longing for someone to love. Yet it is still shy and the Ranger travels now through the Middle Earth trying to find some peace. Sometimes he stops by the elves or the Rangers yet most of his time he devotes to chasing the creatures of shadow and seeking for new adventures.
