A pleasant smile is rarely absent from her fair-skinned face – a testament to her buoyant spirit. She is very fond of her older brother and longs to make him proud.

Appearance: Araeleth stands an inch or two taller than many other female Elves, with the long fair hair and noble features common to her people. Her clothes usually consist of a cream-coloured tunic and trousers, with a silver robe that wraps around her slim frame. A pouch of healing herbs hangs from her belt, next to a sheathed knife she carries for cutting away clothing from wounds.

History:

The second-born of Balharn and Dínoss, she grew up under the watchful care of her parents and older brother. As the siblings grew, they began to show clear interests in the past-times that would become their life-work. While Caelgaran practised his skills with a sword, Araeleth learned to identify healing plants and herbs. Their parents’ blessings granted to them both when they came of age allowed the siblings to begin their separate trainings. Araeleth saw little of her brother after he joined the border guards but her schooling in the healing arts kept her busy enough.

Her completion of the training brought an abundance of free time that she used well. She travelled beyond the borders of her home forests and crossed the plains to the Mirkwood to study with healers there. During this time, Araeleth found she preferred the vastness of the Mirkwood to her old home and decided to stay.
