Personality: Aramaethor is a strong leader whom others follow readily; he is assertive and forceful. He is not afraid to go after something and will persevere until he attains it. However, he can also be compassionate and kind to those in need and to those he views as more venerable. To his enemies, though, he is a dangerous, cold, and ruthless foe that never gives up. To his friends, on the other hand, he is charming and considerate.

Appearance: Aramaethor is tall and muscular. He has the nobility of the Dúnedain in his heritage, and it reflects in his bearing. He clothing tends to be in darker colors, including black, grey, and dark green. His hair is black and his eyes are silver, the color of mithril. His horse, Aranui, is a black stallion with a star. Aranui is related to the Mearas, the noble horses of Rohan, though he is not considered to be in the direct lineage of them. However, his strong build and noble lines reflects this relationship. Aramaethor’s sword, Narthan, is silver, with a diamond in the center of the hilt.

History:

Aramaethor was twenty years old when his father fought with the other Rangers at the Battle of Pelennor Fields. This put in him a desire to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a soldier. Aramaethor’s mother had died giving birth to him. After he and his father moved to Minas Tirith, he fulfilled his dream and joined the military, where he quickly rose in the ranks and eventually became a Guard of the Citadel. Aramaethor was awarded the position of Captain of the Guard when he was 30, the second-highest position, for the highest position, Captain-General of the Guard, is always held by the Heir of the Steward.
