Ardalon (Ellesà driël)
: During the first age, Ardalon wandered around, learning from his bird and was exploring Middle-earth. In Lothlorien he encountered a beautiful elven women named Lótwë and they fell in love. She had the forsight and told him she’d have a daughter. Ardalon wanted to marry her, but her father gave him a quest he had to fulfil before he could. His quest was to capture one of the most rare birds in Middle-Earth, a bird with silvery silky feathers and could enchant you with its beautiful voice. To bring him good luck, Lótwë gave him her bracelet. It was a hard quest, but at last he found it.
When Ardalon returned with the bird in Lothlorien he couldn’t find her, nor her father. They told him they just disappeared, after a fight between father and daughter. His heart was torned apart, he swore he’d find her and marry her, but he never did. For fifteen years he wandered in Middle-Earth, trying to find her, but she’d just vanished. His bird gave him company and they became the greatest friends. Some even say they share their souls with each other, but Ardalon has ever denied it.
After his search for his love he went to Lothlorien again and there he stayed ever since.
