History:

Ardyn was born two weeks early on the board of a ship his parents had taken for a tour along the sea-coasts of Gondor, during a sea-storm. Since childhood, he has been looking up to his elder brother Thyrin, just a couple of years his senior. Nevertheless, there has never been a serious rivalry between the siblings. Being of a noble and ancient line, both brothers were brought up to assume their rightfully high positions in the Court, but they chose different paths. Ardyn preferred to follow the steps of his father and learned to do his many duties early, and has always accepted this kind of life as granted. The military education has been more like a sport and personal development to the peace-loving man. His true calling was the politics, and having been singled out by one of the King’s Councilors as his protegee has opened a great deal of doors before the ambitious man. He climbed the social stars swiftly, reaching the position of the Queen’s clerk. He got married quite late for a noble, at 26, to a woman of an equally noble blood, and has three lovely daughters. Ardyn sees the family of his brother just as his own, feeling very protective of his niece and nephew.
