History:

One day, as Kurt (Arella’s father) was just heading out to work when he opened the door and there was a baby in a basket. Confused, he read the note that came with the child.

Dear Kurt,

It’s been a while since I left, hasn’t it? I have found out about my ancestors. It turns out that they were not human, but beyond that, I cannot tell you more. Soon after I left, I found out that I was pregent with your child. I’m still not sure why I didn’t tell you before. All that I can tell you now is that our daughter is not safe with me. This is the only safe place for her now. Please, take care of her. I’m not sure if I’ll ever be able to return.

Love,
Jazlyn

Kurt had no idea how to take care of a child, especially one that wasn’t human, so he got help from his mother until she died, and enrolled her into a school for un-human beings so that she can learn how to use her scorcery, which actually came from his side of the family. Arella had a great childhood. The only bad thing about it was whenever she asked her dad about her mother, he always found a way to avoid the question. When she grew older, and her scorcery became more powerful, another kind of power started to flow through her body. Not even the teachers at her school for supernatural beings knew what this power was, but through instinct, she learned how to use it. These powers allowed her to read people’s souls, and one time during a private session with one of the teachers, she managed to summon a phoenix spirit. Something no one has done for thousands of years.

Before any of this happened, she was often made fun of for being too “Human” One time, a gang that felt like she didn’t belong at that school planned to “Dispose” of her, but Arella’s powerful scorcery was enough to fight them off and get them in jail. The same gang was found accused of murder for some full-blooded humans.

She made plenty of friends by her 18th birthday. All her friends that came to her party witnessed her blue feathered wings grow out of her back so fast, it ripped holes in her shirt. Nobody really knows what she is, but Arella thinks that she’ll find her answers when she finds her mother.
