Personality: Ari's amicable; she gets along with pretty much anybody who has a kind word. Whenever she's angry, however, I'd suggest either finding a shield, or something flame-retardant. Her family is a touchy subject, only to be brought up when there's a need for motivation fired by anger, or to cut her to the quick. She's a musical soul, and writes songs whenever she has a spare moment. She carries her guitar with her wherever she goes in case inspiration and the muses visit.

Appearance: She's 5'10" and fairly slender (not too skinny though). She's got lightly tanned skin from her years on the family farm. Her eyes are a deep green that can range from muted to flaring, depending on her mood. Her hair is jet black with bright blue streaks. She usually has on heavy make-up, including dark eye liner and lipstick. Her nails are often the goth-requisite black, but chipped most of the time because she can never remember to touch up. She usually can be found wearing whatever is on sale that day at the local Salvation Army or St. Vincent's. One constant is always her father's blue-and-white letterman jacket from high school: her only memento of him. Ari does have a penchant for leather, and tries to get as much of it as she can. The only jewelry she wears is her mother's wedding ring. It's a simple slender white-gold band with one small diamond in the center. She wears it to remember her mother's good soul.

History:

Arianna was born a normal human, as was her twin Ariel. However, when she was six, she was playing at the river near her home and fell into some murky water. Her body chemistry mutated almost immediately, attuning her to the element of fire. Her parents soon discovered this, yet kept it a secret and loved her nonetheless.

When she was eighteen, a boy at school noticed her using her power and informed the proper “authorities.” Her home was raided one night. Her sister was visiting a friend, so she didn’t witness the atrocity. Ari was forced to watch her parents’ execution. Her rage boiled over, and she unleashed fiery hell upon her attackers, killing all.

She escaped with only the clothes on her back. A year later, while living under the refuge of New York City’s streets, she fell ill. An immortal by the name of Duncan McLeod found her near death and, taking pity on her, turned her into his kind. She regained her health and trained under him, honing her skills. When she turned 20, he set her loose. She’s been looking for her sister ever since, hoping against hope that she’s still alive, and will still accept her as her sister. After that, her mission will be to take down any who violently oppose Mutantkind.
