When she was very young, she was quite close with her mother. It was her mother’s second marriage, as she understood it, and she was always happy to hear the stories that her mother told her of far off adventures and mischievous happenings. But then one day, her mother went missing, and her father tried to take her mother’s place. He wasn’t very successful. He was cold, uncaring, unkind and just plain brutal towards her. She withdrew from him, withdrew from the world, started to dislike everything. He ruled her like a dictator, and she eventually ran away. She learned very quickly how to fight and get by, and eventually she gained a tutor in the Moreldar realm. She learned to be a master fighter, and eventually, ran farther and farther from her father, who persued her more and more. He has hunted her all of her life, watched her all her life, and she has always been aware of his presence.
