She can be very self-conscious and can get embarrassed easily. But she is fun to be around and is interested in others. She is very helpful and never complains about work or hardships. She has a very positive outlook on life, which she inherited from her father. She is wise beyond her years, also because of her father who taught her well growing up.

She is very modest and never wears dresses that have a neckline below her collarbone.

History:

Arisan grew up on the family farm about two miles from the town of Esgaroth, within sight of the Long Lake. She was an only child until her fourteenth year when her mother had another girl, Erien. But by that time Arisan already had friends her own age and a life of her own. Arisan was already in her twenties when Erien was finally old enough to tag along without supervision. So she never became very close with her sister. Arisan always wanted to get married and raise children, and she grew to like the mayor’s son Thearl quite a lot when she was in her teens and early twenties, but Thearl never seemed to return the feelings, so when Arisan was twenty-five and met Denu, a fisherman from the village, she finally gave up on Thearl. Arisan and Denu were married that same year. A year later Arisan became pregnant, and their lives were happy until the baby was stillborn. Arisan went through several months of depression, but finally overcame it. She was hesitant to try for another baby, however. She didn’t want to risk the chance of losing another one. So two more years passed, and she finally was happy. Only to have it all come crashing down again when her husband was drowned in a storm while fishing in his boat on the Long Lake. Arisan became very depressed again, and moved back in with her parents on the family farm. It has been two years since her husband’s death, but she still grieves for him as if it had only just happened. She is afraid of pursuing any new relationships yet, but in the last two weeks or so she has finally noticed Thearl again, and he is unmarried still. She still likes him very much, but is afraid of becoming too close to someone again.
