Only knows his mother who he was raised by. He is very rugged. When he was a boy his home was attacked by men that were servants of Sauron. Rangers passing through town defended him and his family. In return his family harbored them and gave them supplies until they were ready to leave. One of the rangers, Bregolman became friends with and looked up to him. He vowed he would become a ranger when he grew up but not before becoming a soldier of Gondor when he was of age(18) He served as a soldier for 10 years before becoming a ranger. He had found that man that he thought of as a father when he was young and road with him for 4 years before he was killed in battle by a poisened arrow. Bregolman was greatly saddened by this but he vowed he would never die in the same way. He traveled alone as a ranger, and even took a few assassin jobs but only for the good side.
