Gender: 2
Race: Men
Height: about 6 ft. tall (+ a bit)
Age: Early 20's
Family: none... parents died, and Jaim is as close to 'family' as she has
Animals: Her horse is a tall (18 hand high) bloodbay mare, who matches Jaim's gelding.
Weapons: Uses a sword and bow with flair and accuracy

Personality: A brave, thoughtful warrior... not willing to "rush in where Valar fear to tread". She is an impressive fighter with sword, bow or spear & shield... on horseback, preferably, but on foot if need be. She tries to "work smart"... and survives because of it. Her talent with horses rivals an Elf's, and she is respected as a trainer of fine horses. As a generally happy woman, Cermië is open and friendly, however in their 'job' for the King of Rohan, she has to put that aside and look at all circumstances with a questioning gaze. Her studied caution must sometimes be used to balance off Jaim's slightly impulsive nature.

Appearance: Very tall for a woman of the Riddermark, she is over 6 feet tall, and her height adds to her strength without having to add bulk to her body. Her hair is a very dark auburn, almost burgundy colored, her skin is lightly tanned and clear of freckles. She appears to be of normal height and weight when she is with her friend, Jaim, because he is also very tall and muscular, but seen with regular people she is very impressive. Her eyes are very dark, a stormy green. Since her features are fine cut in spite of her size, she is blessed with a strikingly handsome beauty.

History:

Training: Born the daughter of a Marshal of the Riddermark who had no sons, Cermië was raised with her legs around first a pony, then a horse. She not only had a natural talent for riding and handling horses, but she also was well trained in handling weapons as she competed with the sons of the other Marshals. Her training was accellerated with the War of the Rings, and her survival boasted her prowess better than words in a man’s field of battle.

Love interest: Jaim Greyheart, whom she’s known since they were children. First in playing as children, then in training together, they became fast friends, and slowly fell in love… but didn’t admit to their feelings about each other until recently. He had saved her life once when she’d fallen into the pool by a waterfall, and couldn’t get free of the current. Only his strong swimming could have saved her.

Added info: Cermië and Jaim do special ‘errands’ for the Riddermark, working directly for the King. Their job takes them traveling to many areas of Middle Earth.

Her name means ‘July’ or ‘Summer Days’ and is pronounced ker-me-AY
