History:

Chase was born into a life of privilege, his father a Lord of Gondor and his mother a Lady granted fair in the court. Chase felt it his right to earn the status that had been given to him and learnt all the trades travelers brought to Gondor. Being a simple-minded person Chase found his joys in working rather then the court of his Lord. At the age of 19 he was to be wed to the daughter of high lord and friend to his father, Morwen was her name. She was proud and gave him a cold reception. This was a match made rather to keep the name of Chase’s father then for love. Chase rebelled. He spent his days working where he could and by the night he would lose himself in ale in the inn’s of Gondor. Word spread of the rebellion of Chase and it soon became apparent that his choice of living was not suited to the life of Gondorian Lord.

So taking it upon himself and true to his fashion Chase returned to his House one eve and found that the two families had gathered together to discuss the matter of Chase and Morwen’s marriage. Morwen stood cold and thus pushed Chase to his decision. Rudely kissing, his no longer to be wife and stumbling from his door Chase fled Gondor. He was now aged 20. The night was harsh and Chase’s pockets were empty but his hope was high. He had many a helpful skill and he had been scouring for work less then a week when he found it aboard a fishing ship. His joy and jesting charm returned to him and he no longer wished for nights of ale. He spent two years of his life aboard this ship. He grew found of the Captain and he was climbing the ranks quickly when tragedy struck. The Captain grew ill and soon perished leaving the ship in debate. Again Chase was forced to find another way in life and this came when he was taken aboard to work The Broken Dawn.

Upon arriving on deck his discovered the wrath and sorrow of the Captains daughter, Ligh. And when he saw her pride he was reminded of the wife he was to have. He then took it upon himself to taunt her in whatever manner possible, since that day he has worked for Harineth enjoying the company of this crew and finding his joyful self once more. Until recently Chase was determined to work well for such a captain but now finds himself working aboard a new ship with a very different Captain.
