History:

Cuán was born in the far north of Rohan, in a small hamlet. During the years before the War of the Ring when orcs and wildmen began to run unchecked once more through the horsemen’s lands, they sweapt through the small village, destroying it and slaying most of those who lived there. Cuán fled with a few to Edoras, to beg for aid from the king. In the city, Cuán lost his way, and was found by Faolan (Wolf) of the Rats. Faolan brought him before Enya (Little Fire) and Brenna, and that time the only other memebers of the street gang, and Enya announced him as Grey Coat, and one of them.
As the years progressed and the numbers of the Rats grew as more and more orphans found there way to Edoras and the country geared itself for war, Cuán created power for himself by bullying and threatening those around him. Only Brenna proved to be unimpressed by him, gradually fading away until she would only speak to Enya. The recluse young girl caught Cuán’s eye, and he started to stalk her, begging her to be his lover, although she rebuked him often.
When Enya and Faolan left the Rats he claimed the leadership for himself, offering to Brenna a place beside him once more. But she denyied him and soon after left the Rats completly.
Without Brenna there, Cuán swiftly lost intrest with the Rats, leaving them and wandering Rohan as a ragabond thief.
Years later, he found himself once again in Rohan, thieving from the palace. A councilor to King Eomer caught him in his chambers, and recognised his skill as a sneak. Between the two of them a plan was made, although it took years for all the things they needed to fall into place. During that time the councillor, Siglean annoced Cuán as his nephew, Hean, who had died during the War of the Ring, bringing him into the court.
A short while after this, Brenna came to the court to spy for the king, and Cuán recognised her for who she was, setting people to follow her, still infactuated with her.
Cuán and Siglean’s scheme against the king began to take form as under indirect contact, orcs began to run amok in Rohan again. But one of their underlings broke courage, and tried to break away from the plan. It was decided that he needed to be disposed of, and fast. Cuán suggested Brenna.
Brenna took the job, unknowing that she would be working alongside orcs, or that this was part of a plot to dispose the king. However, she was captured, and from their on in their plans went awry. People who had been hired to bring things about were slain or captured, and slowly, Brenna and those that captured her: two elves, Glorfindel (LoremasterMiar) and Earendel (tawar_meldis), and two Rohirric girls Rynwyn (Dreamdancer) and Fae (_mook_), and Rynwyn’s brother Hiligan (Dreamdancer), discovered the plot, and made their way to Edoras, where they managed to spoil Cuán and Siglean, by a lot of luck, and a lot of chaos. But Cuán made one last attempt on the kings life, but Brenna fought him and she won, but she allowed Cuán to win, telling the others that he was dead.
After the events known as Murder in Rohan, he wandered around the countryside, living from day to day, but was slowly eaten up with revenge and infatuation, until sense served him no longer and he searched for Brenna, and those others who had served in his downfall. He working from rumours and underground tales, he was lead to the Blue Flame, the band that Brenna’s lover had served in. And from there he began to set a new plot…
