Personality: Delegost is a charming young man who dreams of adventure but spends more time on eventless guard rounds than adventuring. He is deeply interested in tales of the past, especially the events of the War of the Ring. Although most of the men in his guard are lazy and don't take their positions seriously (what need is there when there has been peace for the last many years?) he dreams of being as brave and courageous as the heroes of old. He takes heckling from some of his friends for his eagerness to protect the city- especially when they claim there is nothing to protect it from.
He is for the most part well mannered, though he does enjoy flirting with pretty ladies and does enjoy an occasional night out in the taverns. However, when he has his month off duty to return to his home in Emyn Arnen, he spends time helping his parents and little sister with things at home and catching up with what’s been happening there.
Appearance: He is of average height and well built though not bulky. His hair is light brown and he usually keeps it on the shortish side, though long enough to wear pulled back into a small tail. He keeps his beard neatly trimmed. Delegost's eyes are light blue.
History:
Delegost was born to a guard of Minas Tirith and raised on tales of the War of the Ring. He has always had a deep interest in stories about the heroes from that time, and when he took on his father’s role as a city guard he hoped to be of service to his homeland and to somehow be able to pay homage to those from years gone by. Through the years, because of his eagerness to be an excellent guard, he worked his way through the ranks to become a Citadel Guard, and considers himself a friend of King Eldarion.
