Or let's just say he was mean and lean and green. Now he's got a wicked sense of humor, lots of muscle and he's decidedly black. :P So, Diablo picked up with ex-thief Rolan in Red Dawn and now he's totally devoted to the boy. He likes the rest of Imladris as well, though he's tried to eat the Dwarf emmissinary, Hannilisa once or twice.
Also, he's now out with a mission of revenge. He wants to kill a certain man named Di'shan. The reason is Rolan.
Appearance: All black with reddish eyes and a rather small head for such a large horse. He's really big and entirely muscle. No 'My Little Pony' type here. A dished muzzle much like an Arabian and a broad forehead complete his head, set on top of a long, thick neck. Again, muscles, muscles everywhere. His tail was cropped, but it's growing back out again. Nice flowing mane - nothing chopped of there. All four feet are sound and sturdy under long, sturdy legs. Very broad chest and rather wide barrel.
History:
Destrier lived in Rohan with a family there. Then he was stolen and almost died on several occasions.
He was the Nazgul’s horse before he got swept downstream. Stong beast he was, he survived. The others died. Being a Ringwraith’s mount took a toll on his soul. He’s evil. Watch your back.
Well, maybe he’s not quite so evil anymore. After Red Dawn in which he got quite attatched to ex-street thief Rolan, Diablo settled down a bit and now he’s entirely devoted to his two-legger family at Imladris. He’s spent a short time in the camp of an Elf named Ondet and was given a basic torture by a Haradrim – Sakhar. Then he was promised to another man from Harad, this one by the name of Di’shan. However, before Di’shan could begin his evil work on the poor beast, a friend of Diablo’s came and freed him. Okay, that would be the horse of Elf Captain Glyndr – one Sylstar, the gray warhorse.
