History:

Elebridith, daughter of Lanthironnen Sílaidawar of Mirkwood and Merilidhren of Imladris. Pale long hair down to her waist, aquamarine blue eyes, 5ft 7″, with the strong spirit of a warrior and the gentle heart typical of elves.

Elebridith’s father is a brother of King Thranduil’s wife. He is a Lord and high General of the Mirkwood army, which Elebridith was hoping to join. She grew up in the north of the dense forest of Mirkwood, living in a lovely wooden house up in a large old oak-tree. Already as an elven child she was very close to animals and trees, speaking to them for hours on end. Her passion also belonged to the bow and arrows. Already from a very early age onwards Elebridith learn how to handle a bow expertly by shooting at sacks, stuffed with leaves, and by shooting at the ocassional giant spiders. She takes the greatest of care when making her own bow and arrows, lovingly carving them to a perfect fit.

At the time when the rumor had been circling that THE Ring had re-appeared, a Perian (Hobbit) turned up in Mirkwood on his journey to Lonely Mountain, in the company of some Nogothrim (dwarves-folks), and Mithrandir, an old friend of the Mirkwood elves and most elves for that matter. Shortly after, the Elves of Mirkwood heard of the battle against the dragon Smaug, they were called to take part in the battle of the 5 armies, and Elebridith, passionate at heart, begged her father to let her come along to proove her worth as an Archer. Lanthironnen, who had often told his daughter that he wondered if she wasn’t a boy underneath all, just to tease her, finally agreed. He cared a lot for his only daughter, and didn’t wish her to be killed, but his wife Merilidhren seemed to know , that nothing would change Elebridith’s mind, once passion had risen inside of her over a certain idea. Thus Elebridith took part in the battling agains Goblins and those awful wild wolves, and was responsible for the death of many of them.

After they returned her father let her join the Guarding Archers of Mirkwood. Not long after that, the strange creature of Gollum appeared in the woods again, in fact it was the elf-friend Aragorn that had brought him to King Thranduil. It was bad tidings. Commanded by the king, Elebridith’s father put together a group of 6 elven archers to go and scout the area, when shadows started to set and Orcs tried miserably to invade Mirkwood. Elebridith again begged her father to let her join the group of 6. Her restless mind and her adventurous spirit urged to go. So seven elven archers set out along the River Celduin towards the southern part of Mirkwood into the Brown lands. They turned West towards Fangorn, where they stayed within the forest several days to hear the story of the trees. Then they rode on up the Misty Mountains for a while and crossed it where they met the River Bruinen. Once their way brought them to Imladris, Lord Elrond had told them of the strange fellowship of the ring that had formed and left a few days before. All left for Elebridith and her group to tell King Thranduil was, that the rumours were true and indeed shadows were spreading strongly from Isengard. Thus her journey soon ended, when the group returned to Mirkwood.

Elebridith and all the Mirkwood elven fought their own battle against Orcs, Goblins and those of mixed breed, that would find their way into Mirkwood, until the time when the Ring was destroyed. Then Lanthironnen wasn’t able to hold his daughter’s adventurous spirit back. She travelled on her much beloved horse (dun), Ringáre (Moonchild)) to Imladris again, the home of her mother to settle there for a while.
