Personality: An elleth of wide and varied interests, Eleniel turns her hand to almost anything and everything. She inherited a love for both the sciences and the arts from her parents, and has proved equally adept at designing fireworks or buildings as she is at dancing.
The loss of her entire immediate family gave Eleniel resilience and empathy, and she is an exceptional listener and easy to get along with. However, she rarely forms deep and close relationships, being afraid of losing her loved ones once again.
Appearance: Eleniel is unremarkable as far as appearances go. She is small for an elf, but lean and wiry with muscle from years of practice as a dancer. Her features are more elegant than dainty, with grey-green eyes and dark chestnut hair usually bound in a single braid. Eleniel favours simple, functional dress, with as few layers and frills as possible so as not to impede her.
History:
Eleniel is of Sindar and Noldo parentage; her parents met in Lindon in the Second Age where her father was an “scientist” of sorts at the court of Gilgalad, employed to design novel weaponry, and her mother was a minstrel. The family moved to Rivendell as the Last Alliance was gathering, and Eleniel and her mother stayed in Imladris while her father and two brothers went to war. None of them came back. Eleniel’s mother faded from the blow, but Eleniel remained in Rivendell, having taken up the mantles of both her parents, where she became part of both the scientific and artistic communities.
