Personality: Finduilas has a fiery temper, and is very opinionated, which often leads to trouble. Her willful spirit is her greatest strength, but also her weakness. Finduilas, unlike most elves, has a liking for dwarves, for she grew up amongst them. She loves animals, and is a friend of the eagles. But Finduilas' greatest delight is the forests, and in her dreams she walks with Tauron. She claims that she loves no man, saying that she needs no one and friends are enough. But in truth Finduilas loves Erestor, chief counsellor to Elrond, though she will not admit it, even to herself.
Appearance: Finduilas is tall and slender, and has gold-brown-copper hair. Her eyes are grey-green, and her skin ivory.
History:
Born in Eregion, Finduilas spent her youth mostly amid dwarves. Though her hair was dark at birth, Finduilas once swam in a magic pool when she was young, lightening her skin to ivory, her eyes to gray-green rather then emerald, and her hair to golden copper-brown. When Ergion was destroyed, she fled with her family to the realm of Elrond. Finduilas’ parents and siblings soon sailed west, but she remained, and has dwelt in Imladris ever since, save several journies to Mirkwood and Lothlorien.
