Her mother died when Firtihmenel was five years old and her father died three years later of a broken heart.
Galadriel took Firithmenel with her to Lorien to live. Celeborn guessed right away that Firithmenel would be trouble so he tended to be strict with her. During the hundred years that Firithmenel lived in Lorien, she proved herself to be belligerent and independent. Celeborn grew tired of fighting with her and kicked her out of Lorien. She’s only been back seven times since. Because she was kicked out of Lorien, every other elf haven refused to let her in. She went to the humans for help, but ended up getting abused. She has become bitter, homeless, and a wandering elf. A legend now surrounds her and she is known as The Shadow. The legend says she was a ghost kicked out of Lorien and seeks revenge by killing anything unfortunate enough to cross her path. Firithmenel is loyal to no one and trusts no one except her cousin and herself. No one has ever shown her affection except her aunt and cousin, but having seen very little of them, she doesn’t know how to respond to even the slightest bit of affection. She really can be nice, but even than, she’ll be quick to put up a guard if anybody tries anything funny with her.
